제 1 조
심사과정에서 위촉된 심사위원의 신분은 비밀로 한다.
제 2 조
해당 분야 편집위원은 각 논문당 2인 이상의 심사위원을 선정하며, 투고된 논문의 심사과정을 감독한다. 투고자와 동일기관 소속 심사자의 심사를 배제한다.
제 3 조
편집위원장은 특집호 논문에 한하여 추가로 해당 특집호 편집위원을 인선할 수 있다.
제 4 조
당해 연도 편집위원이 제출한 논문에 대하여는 그 위원은 해당논문의 심사위촉 결정 과정에 참여 할 수 없다.
제 5 조
해당 분야 편집위원은 심사위원 선정과 심사위원 수락여부를 7일 이내 처리하는 것을 원칙으로 한다.
제 6 조
심사위원은 심사위촉일 기준으로 보통논문의 경우 최장 49일, 긴급논문의 경우 최장 28일 이내에 심사 완료를 원칙으로 하고, 해당 분야 편집위원은 심사 종결 또는 심사 기간 경과 후 7일 이내에 최종 판정을 하여야 한다.
제 7 조
해당분야 편집위원은 제6조에 의한 최장 심사일까지 심사 결과를 제출하지 않을 경우 대체 심사위원을 선정하거나, 직접심사 등 필요한 조치를 취할 수 있다. 단, 대체 또는 직접 심사의 경우에도 추가로 14일 이내로 처리함을 원칙으로 한다.
제 8 조
1차 논문 심사결과는 "그대로 게재", "수정 후 게재", "수정 후 재심사", "게재 불가" 4종으로 판정하고, 2차 심사결과는 “그대로 게재”, “수정후 게재”, “게재불가” 3종으로 판정한다.
제 9 조
편집위원의 1차 심사결과가 "그대로 게재", "수정 후 게재" 일 경우 해당 논문 심사위원에게 심사를 의뢰하지 않으며, "수정 후 재심사"일 경우 수정 후 재심사로 판정한 심사위원에게 재심을 의뢰한다.
이 경우 심사 기간은 최장 21일 이내 심사 완료를 원칙으로 한다.
제 10 조
심사과정 중 심사결과가 2인 이상 게재 불가일 경우 자동 게재불가로 판정하며, 1인 게재불가일 경우 해당 편집위원이 직접 판정하거나 심사위원 1명을 추가로 선정하여 재심 의뢰를 할 수 있다.
제 11 조
심사위원은 논문의 내용이 아래 어느 한 항에 해당된다고 인정할 경우에는 "게재불가"로 판정하고 그 이유를 구체적으로 밝혀야 한다.
- 기여도가 뚜렷하지 아니할 경우
- 논문 내용이 합리적이지 않은 경우
- 기타 본 논문지에 게재하기에 적절하지 않은 경우
제 12 조
논문 투고자는 심사위원으로부터 질의 또는 자료제출 등의 요구가 있을 경우에는 이에 응해야 하며, 특별한 사유가 없는 한 심사결과 통지 후 60일 이내로 수정된 논문을 제출해야 한다. 또한 수정기간 연장이 필요한 저자는 사무국에 통보하여 허가를 득 하여야 한다.
제 13 조
논문심사 위촉에 관한 편집위원회의 내용은 일체 외부에 공개하지 않으며, 필요하다고 인정할 시에만 해당자에게 통보한다.
제 14 조
본 규정에서 정하지 않은 사항은 본 학회 편집위원회에서 정한 바에 따른다.
제 15 조
본 규정은 2017년 12월 15일 자로 시행한다.

Article 1
The identities of appointed reviewers are held confidential.
Article 2
An editor in the same field as the paper’s content appoints a minimum of two (2) reviewers for each paper and supervises the reviewing process. For papers sent for review, the editor must secure the comments of at least two qualified reviewers, each from a different institution and not from the authors’ institutions.
Article 3
The Editor in Chief can appoint editors for papers on special topics.
Article 4
An editor who submitted a paper cannot be involved in the reviewing process of said paper.
Article 5
The editor in charge of each research field is responsible for finalizing the appointment of reviewers within seven (7) days.
Article 6
From the date of their appointment, reviewers are responsible for finalizing the review within 49 days for a standard paper and within 28 days for a priority paper. The editor in charge of each field is responsible for making a final acceptance decision within seven (7) days of the completion of the review.
Article 7
In the event that the reviewing result is not reported within the review period outlined in Article 6 of the Reviewing Regulations, the editor of the field should take necessary measures, such as appointing substitute reviewers or reviewing by oneself, to complete the review. If the paper is reviewed by substitute reviewers or is reviewed by the editor, the review should be finalized within 14 days of the date on which the substitution was made.
Article 8
The initial review may result in one of four (4) possible outcomes: “accept as it is”, “accept after revision”, “resubmit after revision” or “reject”. The result of a resubmission may result in one of three (3) possible outcomes: “accept as it is”, “accept after revision”, or “reject”.
Article 9
If the result of the initial review is “accept as it is” or “accept after revision”, no request for a second review is made to the reviewers. If the result of the initial review is “resubmit after revision”, a request for review is made to the same reviewers who initially declared the paper “resubmit after revision.” In this case, the maximum review period is 21 days.
Article 10
If both reviewers agree that a paper is “reject”, the paper is automatically declared “reject”. If only one reviewer decides that a paper is “reject”, the editor can decide the final outcome or appoint another reviewer to review.
Article 11
A reviewer will declare a paper “reject” if one or more of the following conditions apply. In the event that a paper is “reject”, the author should be notified of the specific reason(s) for rejection:
1. The contribution of the paper to the society is not clear and distinct.
2. The content of paper is not technically sound.
3. The content of the paper is not relevant to the Journal published by the Society.
Article 12
If a reviewer has a question or requests more information, such as an inquiry for data, the authors must comply. The revised paper must be submitted within 60 days of notification of the review result. If an extension is required for revision, the corresponding author must gain permission from the editors.
Article 13
Information of appointed reviewers is held confidential, but can be shared with an appropriate party if necessary.
Article 14
Provisions not specified in these regulations shall be in accordance with the resolution of the Editorial Board of the Society.
Article 15
These regulations are implemented as of Dec. 15, 2017.
